Recruiting and Operations Assistant

Carolina Football

My involvement in the behind-the-scenes aspects of recruiting and operations for Carolina Football has been a very eye-opening experience. There are a lot of NCAA rules that need to be followed in order to remain compliant, and it is important that these rules are followed in order to guarantee success for the program. I thoroughly enjoyed engaging with the recruits and their parents to tell them why they should commit to UNC. My other responsibilities included: assisting with administrative tasks including filing, credential making, and photoshoot setup; supporting the operations team with gameday setup; maintaining prospective athletes’ accurate information in a spreadsheet for mailouts; drafting and distributing official and unofficial visit forms for the compliance office; and giving tours to recruits and families during the week and on gamedays.
