Marketing Campaign for ACFC

Julie Uhrman, Founder and President of Angel City Football Club, asked my Sports Marketing class to create a marketing campaign for her new NWSL team whose season kicked off in 2022. The objectives were to simply tell Angel City’s story that thrives from inclusivity and community engagement.

My team and I conducted surveys and research to figure out an appropriate target audience that Angel City could successfully appeal to. From here, we came up with initiatives, activation techniques, and researched organizations that could act as potential Angel City partners. At the end of the semester, we had the pleasure of presenting our ideas to President Uhrman and she gave us useful feedback. It was such a great opportunity to work with an up-and-coming NSWL team who has already left its footprint on the city of Los Angeles and the world.
